Return Policy

At Recess Apparel, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help make it right. Please read our full return and exchange policy below to ensure your experience is smooth and hassle-free.

To request a return, you can use the following link or contact us at returns@shoprecessapparel.com. If return qualifications are met, you'll receive a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how to send your package.

ONLINE RETURNS
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or exchange. All returns must be initiated within this time frame.
  • Returns within 14 days of delivery are eligible for a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Returns made between 15 and 30 days of delivery are eligible for store credit only.

  • Returns or exchanges requested after 30 days from delivery unfortunately cannot be accepted.


Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with any tags still attached. We reserve the right to deny returns that show signs of wear or do not meet these requirements. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

EXCHANGES
Need a different size or item? We're happy to offer free reshipping on exchanges—you’ll just need to cover the return shipping back to us. Once we receive your exchange, we will ship out your new item.

RETURN SHIPPING
ustomers are responsible for the cost of return shipping on all returns and exchanges.  we are not responsible for any lost or delayed return shipments.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
 
EXCEPTIONS/NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for returns:
  • custom products (special orders or personalized items)
  • intimate garments (bodysuits & bralettes)
  • items purchased in person.
  • sale items
  • gift cards
  • mystery boxes

FINAL SALE ITEMS
The following items are final sale and not eligible for returns:
  • custom products (special orders or personalized items)
  • intimate garments (bodysuits & bralettes)
  • items purchased in person.
  • sale items
  • gift cards
  • mystery boxes
Please note some made-to-order items are also final sale. These items will have a note in the description and are ineligible for a return.
 
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. You will be refunded the original price with the shipping cost deducted. 

IN-PERSON PURCHASE RETURN POLICY
At this time all items purchased at an in-person trunk show or pop up shop are final sale.
